My Journey

Like it did for so many, the Covid-19 pandemic served as the catalyst for a dramatic shift in my life. For me, it was an awakening to the possibility of living the life I had always dreamed of. At the start of 2020, my body was physically rooted in the hustle of Manhattan life and the demands of a job in marketing, but my heart and spirit were elsewhere.  I was already teaching vinyasa yoga in the mornings, evenings and on my lunch break; so when an opportunity to teach at yoga retreats in Tulum, Mexico, presented itself, I jumped at the chance.

Since moving to Mexico, I’ve more deeply connected with nature and a softer side of the practice, becoming certified to teach stand up paddle board yoga, yin and restorative.  I find it such a joy to teach students from all over the world—with different worldviews, experiences and native languages, but who come to their mats with a universal desire to find quiet, clarity, release, strength, and ultimately, union with community and self. That’s the magic of yoga and why I love sharing this practice with others.

Whether you want to move with your breath through a fiery vinyasa flow, or are looking to relax and release with a more gentle practice or ritual, it would be my honor to guide you through your experience safely, with a spirit of loving playfulness.
